In my upcoming class, Energy Secrets to Success, I’ve been doing energy readings for class participants about what their spiritual gifts are. (In the first module of the class, we’ll be learning how to discover our own spiritual gifts).
All I can say about what I’ve been reading is…What a third eye opener!
Before I can actually “see” the gifts I see all the ways a person is not using them, hiding them, or using them in a negative way. (In Module 2 of the class we’ll be clearing out all of those old ways).
Perhaps most interesting is the need to protect our spiritual gifts. They can be taken from us or demanded from us in a form of spiritual blackmail. (In Module 3 of the class we’ll be bringing in new levels of protection for our spiritual gifts).
But then there’s the actual spiritual gifts themselves. It’s like window shopping at an amazing store filled with glittering, magical toys! Each spiritual gift is a highly complex hologram of information and codes and my challenge has been to decode that energy bundle into a simple sentence. That is similar to the challenge we all have of applying our spiritual gifts to this 3rd dimensional world. (We tackle that challenge in Modules 4 and 5 of the class).
There’s also a strong group agreement NOT to use spiritual gifts in the mundane world because they are sacred and the mundane world is not. I’m not saying any of us agree with this personally, I’m just saying this is a strong taboo that makes it difficult to use spiritual gifts as they were meant to be used…especially in the new energies that we are moving into (we take a look at that in Module 6 of the class).
But what has been most interesting of all is the response from some of my peeps who are old souls. The word “success” has a material sense to it that feels like it debases spiritual gifts. We certainly all know the mental ego positions on success…achievement and fame, being two of the qualities associated with that level. But this is not the level of success I’m talking about in this class.
Right now, I really want to release negative energy from and associated with the word success. From a spiritual level, success is associated with the word “triumph” and that word is associated with “hymn to Dionysus,” the god of wine and ecstasy. When I look energetically at that (!), success becomes the song of joy that we sing when we have achieved the perfect mirroring of our soul and all of its potential in this dimension that we are living in. Success then becomes a living hymn to the Divine within us and the Divine around us.
Walt Whitman said it so beautifully in his poem “Song of Myself:”
I celebrate myself, and sing myself,
And what I assume you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.
Come celebrate yourself with us!
