The Right Energetic Stance in Past, Present and Future
A part of our energy anatomy is the energy body. This fluid energy is a consciousness that, among other things, helps the body regenerate and repair and interfaces between the conscious and the unconscious mind. If we have an empowered stance about our health and healing, the energy body is very active. If we have a stance that other people are in charge of creating our health, whether it is an allopathic or naturopathic doctor, the energy body can look dormant.
(Note: If you have an active energy body, then you might feel changes throughout your body system as you read this post, as this information is being simultaneously given to your conscious awareness and your energy body. If it’s needed, it will self-correct. How can that be, you might wonder? It’s a little trick I’ve learned in my adventures in energy healing.)
One interesting aspect about the energy body is that it is very fluid and can operate with time in a multidimensional way. Because of this, it is important to have the right energetic stance to the past, present and future. In its default position, this stance is created by the broad spectrum of emotions, beliefs and perceptions in the mental/emotional fields. If an individual is spiritually awakened, then it is created by the spiritual fields. The right energetic stance of the energy body regarding time occurs whens you state the following mantra:
I am fully in the present, while supported by the past and open to future potential.
Being Fully in the Present
It’s easier to be present when it’s a beautiful day, and you’re outside watching the clouds, listening to the buzz of bees, smelling fresh cut grass, and feeling the sun and breezes on your body. Below are some techniques that are beneficial for staying in the present whether life brings ups or downs:
- Meditate: Done on a regular basis, this powerful tool supports the mind in becoming quiet and allows other types of consciousness to come to the forefront of awareness such as the heart.
- Walk: We are a society that does a lot of sitting and head work. Move the physical body and be present to it as you do.
- Be aware of your emotional state: Place awareness on the heart and allow emotions to move easily through the body.
- Breathe: Learn different breath techniques which will quickly bring you into your body, lift out pain, and center you. It will also support moving emotions through the body.
- Ground: Anchoring in through the body to the magnetic grids of the planet changes us from walking heads to integrated human beings. Hugging a tree will quickly ground you.
- Stay present in conflict or confrontation: Open the heart and breathe in the face of a conflict. With an attitude of allowing and trusting, you can shift a situation very quickly. The body doesn’t need to go into resistance (contraction) or withdrawing (leaving energetically).
In the next two posts we will examine how to develop the energetic stance of support from the past while opening to future potential.
