Readjusting to Daylight Saving Time

Humans are a biological species long before they were social, or political, especially when it comes to time and light factors. The current policy of using Daylight Saving Time is regulated by the Federal Government. There was plenty of opposition to imposing DST, so the government waited for a war (World War II) to impose it. Evidently using a time of national fear to implement whatever one wants, is a tactic used by quite a few U.S. presidents.

The story that we’re all fed is that DST saves energy. Michael Downing debunks this in his book, Spring Forward: The Annual Madness of Daylight Saving Time. From an energetic standpoint, DST is a way of controlling and manipulating humans. Our circadian time rhythms are one of the most sensitive parts of our biology, and when it goes awry we are headed into, not only sleep problems, but also health problems including obesity, depression, heart disease and diabetes, according to the website sleepeducation.com.

It was only after many years of energy healing that I discovered the importance of timing in healing. Without right timing, a person suffered a healing crisis, a very uncomfortable state to be in which often felt worse than the actual symptoms being healed. The phrase “it’s all about timing” is more accurate than we often realize. Without right timing we can’t:

  • Communicate
  • Find peace
  • Manifest abundance
  • Create music or art
  • Heal without negative side effects, including creating negative karma for ourselves
  • Live (heartbeat rhythm and timing is vital)
  • Have higher mental functions
  • Sleep

In short, all of the higher human expressions are dependent upon right timing. So are we doomed to being exploited by our government for their obscure reasons for Daylight Saving Time? Nope. In the following “timely” meditation, your energy will be shifted to galactic time, where the rhythm of your body is in time to the solar system. It will align you energetically to a “higher” timing which will override human imposed timing. This will allow you to easily handle the shift this Sunday, March 9, as time is arbitrarily shifted forward one hour. If you are a person fairly resistant to change, you should repeat the meditation three times to retrain your energy anatomy.

This meditation will also help heal rhythm, i.e. timing, disorders in general including sleep and other health concerns. Although, you might have to follow an exernally imposed time for work or school, you can still listen to your body for sleeping, eating, and other body functions. This meditation will help build a bridge between your natural rhythms and the externally imposed, human influences.

gia, this was fascinating and I’m trying it daily because I know how much has been out of timing for me. It also throws off my pets because they don’t understand time shifts and I have to switch their feeding times & insulin receiving times now in order to fit my schedule that has changed.

Seeing how wonderfully you do with this, I’m wondering if in a future blog you could discuss some of the energetics of co-dependency. Many of us are co-dependent, whether we recognize it or not & the dynamics of it play out in group work, which I know you have a lot of experience doing.

I’ve found some interesting pieces with regard to how codependents may avoid intimacy and connection, have power struggles in their careers, and more.

Thanks much for your continuing insights & helpfulness!

    Many blessings.

    Hi Melanie,
Thanks for the thoughtful comment and suggestion. Will add it to my list for future posts.

A note about the healing meditation here….last night I found myself incredibly tired at 9 p.m. I’m never tired at that time of night and then I suddenly remembered I had recalibrated myself and it was actually 10 p.m. in my body. Off I went to bed!

I just have to tell you about the DST meditation. Time changes are always a challenge for me so I loved that you offered this meditation to come into galactic timing. Well….I golfed the next day, and my swing was so well timed! I was poetry in motion (well, in my own mind!) I had one of my best
games! You might want to add that it helps with physical movement as well.

What a pleasant surprise – Thank you!.

    Love and Light,
    Yvonne
