When I was in southern India, I was at the ashram of Sai Baba. For me the main form of suffering came from all of the hours of sitting cross-legged on the concrete floors. I am in my mid-50's and my right hip gets painful with a lot of sitting. We, on average, would sit for 2-4 hours at a time, twice a day for darshan.
