Week One: Healing
Day Two: Reconnecting the Near Senses to Gravity

Geometrical Configuration: Multidimensional Time Healing Chamber with Serenity, Openness and Celebration:

Bach Flower Essences: Gentian, Larch and Star of Bethlehem

The near senses are the vestibular sense in the ears for balance; the tactile sense for perceiving heat, cold and other sensations; and the proprioceptive sense located in the joints for determining movement in time and space. They are called the near senses because they orient us from the inside out, while the far senses are from the outside in. Great athletes have outstanding tactile, vestibular and proprioceptive senses. These senses are the foundation for the other senses as they develop first in utero.

The Guides speak:
Although these senses have a biological purpose they also have a higher sense purpose as well. The elbows, for example, hold spiritual information for creating psychic space and boundaries, while the hips hold the passion of the spiritual fire of creativity. Ankles know when you are on “rocky ground” or “loamy Earth” directing you when to move on or sink in and flourish. The shoulders let you know when your actions are supported by the “heavens” or out of integrity with your soul’s plan. The knees, because they face forward, are in tune with your soul’s next step. They hold the entire blueprint for the soul’s journey in its incarnation.

For these senses to work well they must be aligned and connected to gravity. When the tactile sense connects to gravity then movement becomes effortless and free on the planet. As you walk on the planet connected and aligned your energy pushes down through the legs and feet. The planet in turn pushes back, creating joy in all action. In you know this in your physics as “for every force there is an equal and opposite force.”

When the vestibular sense is aligned and connected to gravity, then your movements and actions are infused with grace and balance. When the proprioceptive sense is connected and aligned to gravity, then you carry the inner integrity and support that allows your energy to move down through your body to the planet. This creates the foundation for the far and higher senses to operate from.

Listen to the Balancing the Sense Meditation, and today’s meditation, then state:

“In serene right timing, I open in celebration to my connection to gravity.”

Note from gia: After this meditation, follow up with a walking meditation. Feel your body in space, connect your ears to your heart, and as you walk, feel yourself push down on the planet and the planet push back.
