You may be familiar with his albeit controversial tales of shamanism. Not everyone who has had even similar experiences necessarily attempts to translate the feelings and images into words. Mystical experiences are not always describable or relatable. Certain questions emerge in the minds of sceptics: 1) How can the "ally" in shamanism be real? 2) Why is an actual spiritual entity, an ethereal or inorganic-being summoned from the spirit world or beyond the conventional plane by the Shaman or sorcerer? 3) What if the ally concept is merely a conceptual idea, a word-thought construction created by the non-Shaman to give some shape, form or meaning around an unknown, indescribable POWER known only to and reachable only by the Shaman?
