Communicating with Guides
April 8th, 2007
Communicating with guides can be done with clairaudience (higher hearing perception), clairvoyance (higher visual perception) or clairsentience. The last accesses the body’s wisdom and knowledge of other realms through heightened touch perception. For the mind to access the information that the body receives, the tool of muscle testing is suggested. Using a yes/no question format, muscle testing is simple to learn. The mastery of muscle testing is in the art of asking questions.
Muscle Testing Tips
- Clarify your intention. Almost invariably, some people have trouble distinguishing the yes and no answers. Sometimes the clarity will be working and then fade. A simple solution to this difficulty is to deliberately open internally to truly hear any answer, and to ask that the yes and no answers be more distinct. Assert your genuine willingness to hear and ask that the communication be made stronger and more distinct. That usually will immediately improve the clarity. Sometimes when we aren’t getting any clear answer, we’re being told that the question isn’t right. Get centered, open the mind and become creative with what you are asking.
- Stay hydrated and rested. Sometimes we simply become fatigued, dehydrated, or otherwise enough out of balance to distort the needed clarity of reception. Correct whatever is wrong and continue practice when ready to do so.
- Calibrate your listening to the Transpersonal Self. With this practice the most vital element is the willingness to hear your guides. Superimposing personal assumptions will completely distort the process and must be avoided. What is being practiced is the willingness to hear what is not known or expected. The left brain in particular thinks it knows the answer before it asks the question. Beware of the left brain asking the question in a way that is similar to “leading a witness.”
- Practice, practice, practice. Getting good with muscle testing to communicate with guides means you need to get comfortable with it as a tool. Practice using muscle testing in all areas of your life.
Muscle Testing Methods
Try all of these methods and pick one that you particularly resonate to:
- One-handed: Silently affirm your intention to communicate with your guides. Bring your awareness into your nondominant hand. Ask to calibrate to the electric part of your electromagnetic field. (Once mastered you don’t need to do this again). Lightly touch together the pads of your index finger and thumb. Keep your hand and fingers relaxed. Ask your fingers to show you “yes.” (You’ll feel a slight sensation between the two fingers as though a magnet were drawing them together.) Listen or feel for this versus trying to “see” it. Ask to be shown “no.” (You won’t feel anything between the two fingers even though they are touching.) Continue to practice asking yes/no questions throughout the day. Start with small things that don’t feel emotionally charged. Be open to the answer even when your left brain can’t explain it.
- Standing: Silently affirm your intention to communicate with your guides and to calibrate to the electric part of the EM field. Stand with knees slightly flexed. Ask your body to show you “yes.” Your body will slightly sway one way or another. Ask your body to show you “no.” Your body will sway a different way or not at all. After understanding your method of yes/no you don’t need to ask again.
- Two-handed: Bring your awareness into your hands. Ask to calibrate to the electric part of the EM field. Form two intertwined circles with thumb and index fingers. Ask your fingers to show you yes. Quickly pull your dominant hand away from the nondominant hand. They will not easily break apart. Ask your fingers to show you no. Quickly pull your dominant hand away from the nondominant hand. They will easily break apart.
Once you’ve learned muscle testing, you can begin communicating with your guides. Make sure your questions don’t have two questions in the sentence. Keep a record of the information you do get. Be open to some amazing information that your left brain couldn’t possible get on its own. And don’t leave your discernment out of the process. Ultimately it’s up to you to decide how to apply the information from your guides, if you choose to do so.
Finally, the more you tune into the subtle realms with clairsentience the more your other higher sense perceptions will open up as well.
