I[...] Do you ever get stalled out in your life or in a project? Find yourself waffling back and forth about proceeding? Work very hard at a project, only to see it fizzle out at the end? Get overwhelmed by difficulties as soon as you set your intention? If so, you may be stuck in one of the four stages of growth, or as they are called in ancient vedic wisdom from India—the Four Baskets. The Four Baskets refer to four stages of development that occur when you are in utero. They are: 1. Conception At the point of conception there is stillness and fullness, such as one experiences in a so called “pregnant moment.” In the Hindi tradition in India, it is believed that the emotional state of the parents at the time of pregnancy imprints on the newly conceived human being and that it becomes the core emotion for life. A “positive womb” creates happiness and psychological security as a foundation. (Note: I recently worked with someone who had a baby from an in vitro fertilization. I could actually see the energy of the doctors and lab technicians imprinted on the baby. With energy healing, however, this can be changed.) 2. Restriction In the next stage of pregnancy, there are a lot of chemical changes that occur. The growing fetus experiences restriction and the response can be one of unpleasantness or struggle. Again the experiences the mother is having during this time will affect how one deals with this phase of growth. What is the point of restriction you might be wondering? It is the result of spirit fusing with biology or nature. 3. Preparing for Birth During this phase or stage, the type of movement is back and forth. The pregnant mother has false labor pains called Braxton Hicks and labor may actually start, only to stop again. The emotional swing during this phase is one of hope/no hope or doubt/faith. 4. Birth The moment everyone has been waiting for! It’s a moment of liberation, victory, success and completion. How do the four stages of pregnancy relate in normal life? Sometimes in personal or spiritual growth or in manifesting we have to: Wait or Feel restriction or Oscillate or Land perfectly. Growth is not only one of the scientific definitions of life, it is also the primary quality of the soul. When growth gets impeded or stopped, or there is a perception that growth is being stopped, a tremendous amount of frustration can build up within you, creating it own secondary problems. Your initial experiences in the womb have become the default mode for how you work through the phases of growth. With energy healing, you can choose your own preferences including your emotional set point for joy, happiness and contentment as well as success in manifesting. Becoming aware of the fours stages of growth can help you identify where you are, if you are actually stuck or just perceiving yourself as stuck, and prepare for what’s next. In the following meditation, you are led back through your four baskets of life, clearing and healing imprints that are causing you problems in personal or spiritual growth or in manifesting. Next negative emotions or energetic charges that have built up in your life about these different phases are released. Working with a clean slate, you will be asked for your deeper understanding about each phase. The American culture isn’t one that honors waiting, restriction and struggling, or oscillating. The intent here, is that you find within you the metaphysical purpose for each phase of growth in your life. Once you reach the metaphysical purpose (why does your soul need this?), often there is an Ah Ha! moment about all the moments in your life. That is the moment you gain freedom over your biology. You may need several run-throughs to get to the Ah Ha! moment. Sometimes just becoming open and accepting to the phase is more than enough. (That would be waiting). Sometimes deeper, unpleasant feelings need to release first. (That would be restriction). The first two posts covered the five rules of Inspiration, the 3 types of Inspiration and how to create more inspiration in your life. I was initially going to present a version of this post as a keynote speech at the 8th Annual Women’s Wellness Weekend at the Sagamore Resort in New York, however, some unexpected shifts in the schedule left me speaking at the beginning of the weekend, instead of the second day. I had to shift my presentation to better match where people were at the beginning of the weekend. Still I wanted to share my thoughts on grace…this was my creative inspiration for doing so. The root word for Grace means “free.” This is one of the primary qualities of grace—an unexpected boon or blessing in your life that is free. Grace, for me, comes in two forms. One is internally created from personal and spiritual growth and the other could be viewed as an external form that comes from a Divine Source. I have experience both at different times in my life. Here is a tiny sampling of some of my moments of grace: At the age of 8, King, the horse I was riding, ran away with me. I wasn’t too concerned as I figured he’d tire eventually or stop at the end of the fenced pasture. We came to the fence and I thought he would stop or jump it and prepared myself for that. Instead he turned on a dime and raced down the length of the fence. I, however, kept going straight. I went between the second and third strands of a barbed-wire fence. Any one who knows about barbed-wire, knows how quickly it can disfigure an animal or human. The fence shredded my pants, turning them into shorts, and tore a chunk out of my leg which eventually needed over 50 stitches. Where was grace? It somehow surrounded me as I flew through the fence protecting my face and vital organs, even though I landed sitting up on the other side of the fence. I was also never in pain from the wound. In my 20s, I suffered a time of deep unhappiness and depression. I was absolutely miserable. Although I had no sense of a Divine Source or higher spiritual being, I sat down and prayed-meditated, asking for help. Something responded and I felt a wave of peace wash over me. The circumstances of my life didn’t change externally, but I now had an inner reference point of grace and peace which sustained me throughout many times of adversity. Before remarrying for the second time in my thirties, I went through a couple of weeks of severe panic attacks. What, if after getting married, everything changed for the worse? What if I had to go through a divorce again? I couldn’t bare the thought of being trapped in a marriage gone wrong. My fiance’s response was perfect….we didn’t have to get married, if I wasn’t ready. I kept giving myself permission to bail if I needed to, even at the last moment. Still the panic attacks persisted. When we got our marriage license application we were told we had up to 3 months after the ceremony to get it registered and if we didn’t, it would null and void the marriage. Whew…an escape clause! With my 3 month guarantee in place, I proceeded to get married. During the ceremony, my husband and I looked into each other’s eyes as we said our vows, and grace entered again. I felt peace wash over me and heard and knew that everything would be okay. We registered our marriage license the next day. These are just a few examples of the way grace has affected my life. Before exploring how to invite grace more fully into your life, let’s explore what grace is and why it’s tied in with a series of posts about Inspiration. They are: psychic, heart, and sexual/creative. If these three energies are balanced by themselves and to each other, then the energetic integrity between two [...] In relating to each other, we use three primary energy streams that emanate from the body. They are: psychic, heart, and sexual/creative. If these three energies are balanced by themselves and to each other, then the energetic integrity between two people or within a group of people is also in integrity. Both the sexual/creative and the psychic energy stream can be very directed and probing, while the heart energy stream is more diffuse by nature. Other characteristics are: Psychic Energy—originating from the 3rd eye. When out of balance it is used to control, dominate and break down the spirit of another person. A psychic attack is an energy attack created by someone thinking hateful, spiteful thoughts about someone else. When in balance, this energy allows for greater insight into daily situations and motivational or inspirational thoughts. Heart Energy—the energy of love and joy. When out of balance heart energy becomes smothering, needy, or overly empathic. In balance, it is nurturing, compassionate yet empowering (I feel your pain, yet know that you can overcome this). When the heart energy has a courageous quality, it strengthens the entire physical body. Sexual/Creative Energy—originating from the 2nd chakra. When out of balance this energy can be slimy, manipulative, and seductive. When not finding an avenue of expression, extreme frustration builds up in the body and an attitude of constant crankiness, anger and irritation is expressed. When balanced, this is the energy used for healing and creating. It is highly charismatic, and affirms life. The following meditation using Crystalline Consciousness Technique and intentions  balances these three energies.
