Carnival of Creative Growth #31: The Chakra Game

There were many wonderful posts to choose from for this carnival, but I have to be frank. I’m fully into the long, lazy days of summer. Sure I have to work, but I also want to PLAY. The posts I chose for this carnival have an element of fun, creativity and play to them.

For play in putting together the carnival, I decided to create the Chakra Game. You can just read whatever post interests you OR you could clear each chakra by reading one post from every chakra. Or clear one chakra by reading all the posts underneath that chakra. Or make up your own game and leave a comment about it!

Note: Each chakra is followed by its location, the color most often associated with it, the qualities associated with it, and the personal and spiritual tasks needed for growth.

1st Chakra: Tip of the tailbone: Color red. Vital life force energy. Safety. Personal growth—mastering a sense of belonging tribally or culturally. Spiritual growth—activating DNA memories of all cultures.

  • Arun presents Getting Off The Safety Net. Arun says: Building a personal safety net is important, but you should never settle on relying on it indefinitely. Strive to climb to something higher!

2nd Chakra: Lower pelvis. Color orange. Sex, Money and Relationships. Creativity.
Personal growth—mastering a sense of belonging in family. Spiritual growth—creating community.

  • Lexi Sundell presents Rooster Paintings. Lexi says: They provide a visible measure of the unseen winter incubation that led to their birth. gia says: Check them out…they’re fun!
  • David B. Bohl presents How to Use Creativity to Carve Out Your Niche in Life. David says: Creativity can be the act of bringing something new into this world. Or it can be the uniqueness of each person that sets them apart from others.
  • Gary Evans presents Abundance Is Natural.

3rd Chakra: Solar Plexus: Color yellow. Self-esteem, will, boundaries, action. Personal growth—knowing and valuing self; self-worth. Spiritual growth—knowing and valuing spiritual gifts; soul’s worth

  • Ralph Jean-Paul presents Doing the Impossible. Ralph says: Am I setting you up for failure? It depends on how your psyche interprets the heading above. If all of your life you’ve been programmed to see unattainable as impossible, then yes I’m setting you up for failure. That is, unless you can switch your thinking to the plane of believing in your ability to accomplish the impossible.
  • Nadege presents Everything comes to him who hustles while he waits
  • Anand presents Building High Self-Esteem. Anand says: High self-esteem forms the foundation of a happy and successful life. This article details common misconceptions about self-esteem and how to go about becoming a high self-esteem person.

4th Chakra: Heart. Color green. Empathy, love, connection with others and the Divine. Personal growth—love thy self. Spiritual growth—love others unconditionally.

  • CG Walters presents Laughing is Praying. Walter says: It makes perfect sense that laughter would be one of our surest invitations into audience with the Absolute. In the moment of a sincere laughter, the heart is open, the restrictive mind is lost, and we are completely genuine, naïve as a child.
  • Candice Brokenshire presents Too busy laughing to talk?

5th Chakra: Throat. Color light blue. Speaking authentically from one’s truth; creative expression. Personal growth—master giving and receiving. Spiritual growth—master duality.

6th Chakra: Third Eye (above the eyebrows, in middle of forehead). Color indigo. Insight, psychic abilities. Personal growth—develop discernment. Spiritual growth—master spiritual free will and choice.

7th Chakra: Crown. Color purple. Connection to the Divine, inspiration. Personal growth—know personal spirituality. Spiritual growth—know Unity Consciousness

Thank you very much for including an article from byteful.com in your carnival! I like how you organized the articles into their respective chakra centers. This is the first time I’ve ever seen a carnival organized in that way.

I’d like to specifically thank you for placing my article in the 7th chakra. I hope that everyone benefits from learning how to transmogrify their workspace into an inspiration.

    best,
    @bytefulcom
