In the previous two posts, I discussed the right energetic stance for the energy body, being fully in the present, while supported by the past. Now I discuss the third element which is being open to future potential. Once again here is the power mantra to state that begins to entrain the energy body to right energetic stance with past, present and future.
I am fully in the present, while supported by the past and open to future potential.
The energy of the future is represented by the front of our body. We move forward in growth and toward that which we are creating. Opening to future potential is slightly different, however, then moving toward our goals. Future potential is a hologram that holds all of our greatest personal/spiritual growth as well as our intentions. When we are fully in the present and open to this future potential, then it comes to us. We become aligned to the universe in timing and energy.
The task with this energetic stance is to not block what is coming to us with fear, anxiety, or worry. All three of these emotional states are projected in front of us energetically and not only block our greatest good from coming in, but also attract what we don’t want in our life. Because fear is linked with the ancestral brain it is very difficult to not ever feel fear, unless one is a great spiritual master.
What is it exactly that we fear so much? Being open to future potential, which is an unknown can be extremely scarey. We might respond by throwing up the fear screen or we might respond by trying to control the form and timing of every outcome. There’s a second aspect of this fear and it has to do with vulnerability. If I stand in my power, open to future outcome, how will I be protected from others who want to take away what I’ve created? This is the beauty of the power mantra. It aligns you to gravity and brings in greater protection for you. In the beginning you’ll have to just trust that statement, but the more you practice this energetic stance, the more you’ll have positive experiences to serve as your reference point for trust.
Below are some tips for dealing with fear, followed by an energy meditation that you can do to align you to gravity and begin to feel what it is like to be fully in the present, while supported by the past and open to future potential.
Work with fear by:
- Becoming aware of when you are in fear. This includes anxiety and worry.
- Fear asks what do you need to pay attention to. Ask yourself if you are in physical danger. If not, or you can’t discern what the fear is in response to, just ask for greater protection from a higher power, your guides, Creator Source, etc. Affirm that you are okay in this minute.
- Your breath quickens when you’re in fear. Learn how to deliberately slow your breath down, while deepening it at the same time.
- Fear will unground you. Go hug a tree, or imagine you have roots coming from your feet into the ground and travel deep into the Earth through your root system.
- Be willing to trust to the unknown. Let the mind surrender its having to know everything. How boring our lives would be if we already knew how everything was going to unfold! Trust that you’ll know how to handle whatever come to you from the future for it is from your own future potential.
- Affirm that the universe is a good universe and you are in alignment with it.
- Surrender what is bothering you that is causing fear, anxiety or worry. Energetically this is allowing the mind to release to the spiritual body all that is unknown, but possibly feared. This powerful action immediately affirms that there are powers greater than the physical/emotional/mental ones that we use here in third dimension and we turn over the unknown to those higher powers.
- Use the Aligning to Gravity Meditation (below) to quickly shift into right energetic stance and trust in any situation or with any person where you feel disempowered or in fear.
The following Aligning to Gravity Meditation can be learned in the quiet of your home or office. In the beginning spend 5-10 minutes a day to entrain the energy body. Once you have done entrainment (21 days or more), you can use this meditation in any moment with a simple inhale and exhale.
Choose a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed. Begin inhaling deeply and slowly. As you do, imagine energy coming up from the Earth sweeping the front of your body. As it sweep the front of the body, it picks up any fear, worry or anxiety. Continue imagining this energy moving above your head and then those emotions you don’t want release out. On the exhale bring this same Earth energy down your back. Let it pick up any anchors from the past that are holding you back. As you finish the exhale let the energy move into Earth and release these anchors. Repeat 5-10 minutes. When you do this correctly, you will feel pressed as if between two panes of glass. This is the energy of being aligned to gravity. Finish the meditation by stating, “I am fully in the present, while supported by the past and open to future possibility.

Great post! I like the techniques presented by you here. Being in alignment with the Universe maybe needs more than just affirming it. But it is vital to aspire to it!
